Izzy Top

$8.00Price

About the Izzy Top:

The Izzy Top is a relaxed fitting tunic with an asymmetrical hem and matching belt. The piece is constructed from the bottom up; first, you will knit a triangular bottom hem flat using German Short Rows to prevent puckering. Then, you will join the work and begin knitting in the round. Several decrease rows are worked to shape the body, then the work is split into a front and back panel. The front panel is designed as a deep V-neck utilizing decreases for shaping; the back panel is also shaped using decreases. The shoulders are then seamed together, and you will pick up stitches around the armholes. German Short Rows are used to create a cap sleeve. Finally, you will create a belt to cinch in the waist.
